To dedust the streams of exhaust gas from kilns, clinker coolers, bypass systems, raw and cement mills and dryers Polysius uses both electrostatic precipitators and bag filters. Sometimes these are combined with exhaust gas cooling by means of water injection or gas-air heat exchangers. The dedusting systems are designed to suit the special requirements of the process and to meet the limit values for emissions. Silo installations, crushers, loading plants, pneumatic and mechanical conveying equipment etc. are equipped with high-capacity bag filters.
