Flash dryer

The moist materials fed into the flash dryer are dried by a hot gas stream flowing upwards through the vertical pipe. As the drying process in the riser pipe is extremely rapid, the flash dryer is particularly suitable for materials that have a high surface moisture content and are fine-grained. After the drying process, the material is removed from the gas stream and fed to the subsequent process stage.
