High availability, high efficiency, low specific energy consumption for the grinding plant, low space requirement and simultaneous separation and cooling or drying of the product are the features of the SEPOL® high-efficiency separator.

Polysius supplies 3 versions of the SEPOL® high-efficiency separator:

• a SEPOL® version installed in the circuit of tube mills and high-pressure grinding rolls.
• SEPOL® version in the air circuit of air-swept mills/hammer mills grinding ores, coal, etc. and
• SEPOL® version for roller mills grinding e.g. coal, coke, granulated blast furnace slag, limestone, phosphate and additives such as bentonite and dolomite.

For highly abrasive materials the separator components have a high-grade wear protection covering, such as aluminium oxide ceramic.
